General Terms and Conditions (GTC)

§1 Subject of the Agreement

Event Screens Rentals rents LED video walls and related equipment for events. The rental agreement includes the provision, delivery, setup, dismantling, and collection of the agreed equipment, as specified in the written offer.

§2 Conclusion of Contract

  1. The contract between the organizer and Event Screens Rentals is concluded upon written confirmation of the booking by Event Screens Rentals.

  2. Amendments or additions require written confirmation.

§3 Rental Period and Use

  1. The rental period is individually agreed upon and includes the entire event duration as well as setup and dismantling times.

  2. The equipment may only be used within the agreed framework and at the agreed event location.

§4 Cancellation by the Organizer

  1. Free Cancellation: Cancellation is free of charge up to 3 months (90 calendar days) before the event date.

  2. Cancellation up to 30 days before the event: If cancellation occurs between 90 and 30 calendar days before the event, 50% of the total agreed amount is due.

  3. Cancellation less than 14 days before the event: If cancellation occurs 14 calendar days or less before the event, the full agreed amount (100%) is due.

  4. Date Changes: In the case of a date change by the organizer, Event Screens Rentals cannot guarantee availability on the new date. In this case, the cancellation rules outlined above apply.

§5 Liability for the Rented Equipment

  1. The organizer is fully liable for the rented equipment throughout the rental period.

  2. The organizer is required to obtain sufficient insurance coverage to cover damages, loss, and theft of the equipment.

  3. The organizer must ensure that the rented equipment is handled properly and protected from unauthorized access.

  4. In the event of damage or loss, the organizer is fully responsible for repair or replacement costs.

§6 Obligations of Event Screens Rentals

  1. Event Screens Rentals is obligated to provide the rented equipment in a flawless and operational condition.

  2. After setup, the functionality of the equipment will be checked jointly with the organizer. The organizer must confirm the flawless operation in writing. This confirmation counts as acceptance and verification of the equipment's proper functionality.

  3. For longer rental periods, if the rented equipment fails, Event Screens Rentals will repair the issue or provide equivalent replacement within 12 hours after being notified by the organizer.

  4. If it becomes impossible to provide the agreed equipment due to force majeure or unforeseen circumstances, the organizer will be informed immediately. Any payments already made will be refunded in such cases.

§7 Payment Terms

  1. Payment terms are specified in the rental agreement.

  2. Unless otherwise agreed, a deposit of 50% of the total amount is due upon contract conclusion. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 14 days before the event.

§8 Jurisdiction and Applicable Law

  1. German law applies.

  2. The place of jurisdiction is the registered office of Event Screens Rentals.

§9 Severability Clause

Should individual provisions of this contract be invalid or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. The invalid provision will be replaced by a regulation that comes as close as possible to the economic purpose of the invalid provision.
